Dad, Its christmas eve. I'm sitting here twirling the ring you wore on my finger thinking of you. I hope I honored you well this year. I feel like I'm living for all the people we've lost. I try not to think to hard about it. Sometimes when I really sit and think about it I get this pain in my chest. We'll never have new years eve together again, or Christmas or hugs. We'll never hug again. I keep thinking of things to tell you. There's another star trek movie coming out and you are going to miss it. Its been hard without you. I haven't been back to NJ since you left us. Its hard. Its hard to think that your not there. Its hard to fathom that people leave us. Well I love you and this candle is for you. I miss you absolutely every day.
