Jean G. Levenez of Bloomfield passed away on Wednesday June 12, 2013 at the age of 88. Born in Cleden-Poher France he had lived in Lodi before moving to Bloomfield 40 years ago. He was a chemical operator for Hoffman La Roche in Nultey for 31 years before retiring in 1982. He was a member of the Hoffman La Roche Retirees Club. Mr. Levenez is survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Augustine (nee Melou) Levenez; a son Andre Levenez,a brother Rene Levenez and a sister Marie Bunel..
Visitation Sunday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 at Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield. Funeral on Monday from the funeral home at 9:00 am
followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 60 Byrd Avenue, Bloomfield at 10:00 am. Entombment Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Please visit www.halpinfh.cm to leave condolence messages.
