Mary C. (nee Sesta) LoBiondo passed away on Tuesday August 26, 2014 at the age of 86. Mary was born in Jersey City and lived most of her life in Bloomfield.
Mary received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from Jersey City State College in 1949. She taught in the Irvington school system and substituted in the Bloomfield school system in the 1970's. She was a member of The Amvets Auxiliary Association of Nutley and was an active volunteer for the Special Young Adults of Nutley.
Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Joseph LoBiondo, a brother John Sesta and a grandson Matthew Weiner. Mary is survived by her six children, thirteen grandchildren, three great grandchildren and a sister.
The Funeral Mass and entombment were private. In her memory, donations may be made to St. Barnabas Hospice & Palliative Care Center, 95 Old Short Hills Road, West Orange, NJ 07052 (www.barnabashealth.org) OR a Hospice organization of your choice. Arrangements were made by Frank Halpin's Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad Street, Bloomfield.
