On Wednesday, March 16, 2022, Janice Weathers passed away at home at the age of 75.   Janice Weathers was born in Newark, NJ and grew up in Bloomfield.  She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and, over the years, worked at Curtiss Wright Flight Systems and the Edna Mahan Facility. Janice enjoyed spending time down the shore with friends, as well as being a woodswoman in her home in the country.  She loved animals, and had many cats and dogs through the years.  Janice also enjoyed going to Mt Airy casino where winning a jackpot on the lightning machine was considered by her to be one of her greatest rewards. Janice was predeceased by her parents, William and Helen Weathers, and is survived by her sister, Barbara Kula, her brother, Stanley Kula and sister in law Joan Kula.  She also leaves behind nieces Jennifer Spirio (husband Larry) and Karen Slinger (husband Steve) , and a nephew, Stanley Kula III (wife Kathy).  Janice is also survived by grandnieces and grandnephews:  Alex, Lindsey, Chris, Lawrence, Danny, Matthew, Vanessa and Caroline,and one great-grandniece, Savannah.  She is also survived by her 5 cats: Fred, Barney, Mimi, Sophie and Midge.
