Condolences to all as we say goodbye to a great man, smart, funny and always the life of the party. I cherish the memories and I hope we all find comfort in knowing him and knowing the Lord has him in a better place. Start the party, until we are all together again. Until then we will miss you. Love you like the brother I never had. Wendy and Imani

My memory of my cousin Paul has always been his infectious warm smile. He had this smile that made you feel a loving sense of calm. So many years have passed since I’ve seen him again. So sad how we family members lose touch. I never knew my last connection with him would be many years ago. With hopes of doing better, Rest In Heavenly Peace my dear cousin Paul.

I am still in disbelief.
I do not understand how such a strong vibrant, funny, loving, son, brother, father, uncle, friend, mentor could be taken away from us like this. I think I understand now why we all use the words people who can communicate how we feel because we cannot make sense of life's random cruelty. So I will too, but first, a few thoughts about Paul.
Paul welcomed me and treated me like a younger brother from the moment I met him. Paul was always the one who organized everyone, took care of everyone and made sure no one was left out. I never saw Paul be cruel in fact I cannot think of a time where he got pissed off and angry. Paul laughed, teased, gave advice and listened and all of us are better people for knowing him and getting to share the time we had with him.
I am sending love, hugs to the family and yes tears.
This poem says it better than I can
Death, be not proud
BY JOHN DONNE
Death, be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadful, for thou art not so;
For those whom thou think'st thou dost overthrow
Die not, poor Death, nor yet canst thou kill me.
From rest and sleep, which but thy pictures be,
Much pleasure; then from thee much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee do go,
Rest of their bones, and soul's delivery.
Thou art slave to fate, chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poison, war, and sickness dwell,
And poppy or charms can make us sleep as well
And better than thy stroke; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleep past, we wake eternally
And death shall be no more; Death, thou shalt die.

Paul was a very humble mild mannered intelligent man. It was a pleasure working and getting to know him while at Sandvik and Hemmersbach. One of the many things I admired about him was that whenever work was intense and chaotic he would just simply smile and say something like "que sera sera" and just kept it moving. Knowing that it will soon be all over and done with. Paul you will be sorely missed! May you rest in peace. May GOD comfort the family in this most trying time, my prayers and condolences to the family.

My prayers for you, Cherylann and family, are for comfort, strenght and peace which comes from the Lord.
Though I did not know Paul very well, the pressing memories that I have of him, is his membership in that tightly knit group (Paul, Louis, Fernande, Deeicia, Collette and Cynthia) from the late 70s to early 80s, his calmness and his gentle spirit.
The grace from the Lord be with you now and as you contemplate your memories of Paul tomorrow.
