Victoria Tufano, 101, of Wall, NJ, formerly of Toms River and Bloomfield, NJ passed away on December 11, 2020. Victoria had pursued a career as a library assistant at Montclair State University. Victoria enjoyed traveling and spending time with her beloved family. Following the death of her husband of 55 years she moved to the Lake Ridge Community in Toms River. She was very self sufficient and lived independently and drove a car until the age of 96. Victoria was predeceased by her husband Peter; brother Stanley Korzeniowski who was a decorated airman in WWII; sisters Elvina Ryan and Lorraine Urbanowski; and son-in-law, Kenneth A Scherer Jr. She is survived by her daughters; Beverly Scherer of West Orange and Lois Miller and her husband Denis of Brielle; grandchildren, Kimberly Miller, Carolyn Pastore, and her husband Doug; as well as her great-grandchildren, Eliot, Emelia and Emerson. The family would like to thank the staff of Tower Lodge Care Center in Wall for their excellent care during Victoria’s final years. All services are private due to the pandemic and are under the care of Bitecola- Halpin Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Victoria’s name to a charity of your choice.
