Obituary of Ethel K. Slater
Ethel Slater, of Bloomfield, passed away on August 6, 2019. She was 94.
Sewing and traveling were some of the things Ethel enjoyed in life. She was a volunteer at Clara Maas hospital. Most importantly, Ethel loved her family.
Ethel was predeceased by her husband of 39 years, Robert Slater. She leaves behind her daughter Susan Slater; her son Bob Slater and his wife Pat; and grandson Robert; great-grandchildren, George and Christian.
Friends and family may visit on Friday, August 9, 2019, from 10 to 11 am at Halpin-Bitecola Brookdale Funeral Home, 1284 Broad St. in Bloomfield. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home following the visitation. Entombment to follow at Glendale Cemetery in Bloomfield.
